Cette application contient un cours de terminale S sur les limites de fonctions numériques ainsi que sur la notion de continuité.

On y définit tout d'abord les diverses limites possibles pour une fonction, ainsi que la notion d'asymptote à une courbe.

On trouvera également les divers types d'opérations sur les limites et quelques propriétés permettant de lever certaines formes indéterminées.

Sont abordées ensuite les limites de fonctions composées, puis les théorèmes de comparaison et d'encadrement de limites (théorème des gendarmes).

On termine ce cours par la notion de continuité avec quelques exemples et contre-exemples (fonctions usuelles, fonction partie entière) et le théorème des valeurs intermédiaires, puis son corollaire dans le cas strictement monotone (théorème de la bijection).

Ce cours est illustré d'exemples et d'exercices corrigés.

Then addressed the limitations of composite functions and theorems of comparison and supervision limits (squeeze theorem).

We end this course by the notion of continuity with some examples and against-examples (common functions, function integer part) and the intermediate value theorem and its corollary in the case strictly monotone (bisection theorem).
